Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49 (1) (a)(i) together with section 78(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No 6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the “Act”, that the supplementary valuation roll for the financial years 2007 – 2011 is open for public inspection at the Civic Centre and Municipal Offices, Musina, Nancefield and villages Madimbo, Malale and Domboni from 25 October 2008 to 25 November 2008. In addition the valuation roll is available at website www.musina.gov.za.

An invitation is hereby made in terms of section 49(1)(a)(ii) together with Section 78(2) of the Act that any owner of any property or other person who so desires should lodge an objection with the Municipal Manager in respect of any matter reflected in or omitted from the valuation roll within the above-mentioned period.

Attention is specifically drawn to the fact that in terms of Section 50(2) of the Act an objection must be in relation to a specific individual property and not against the valuation roll as such.  The form for the lodging of an objection is obtainable at the Office of the Corporate Services Manager, Civic Centre, 21 Irwin Street, Musina, or website, www.musina.gov.za.

Kennis word hiermee ingevolge klousule 49(1)(a)(ii) saamgelees met klousule 78(2) van die Wet,  gegee dat enige eienaar van enige eiendom of enige ander persoon ‘n beswaar/besware mag indien by die Munisipale Bestuurder met betrekking tot enige saak wat in die aanvullende waardasierol vervat is/ of ontbreek, binne die bovermelde tydperk.

U aandag word gevestig op die feit dat ingevolge klousule 50(2) van die Wet ‘n beswaar direk in verband met ‘n spesifieke individuele eiendom moet wees en nie teen die waardasierol in die algemeen nie. Die voorgeskrewe vorm vir die indiening van besware kan van die Kantoor van die Seksiehoof: Regsdiens, Burgersentrum, Irwinstraat 21, Musina verkry word, of vanaf die webwerf www.musina.gov.za.
