Members of the the Local Inter-Sectoral Steering Committee (LISSC) converged for their quarterly meeting at Madimbo Thusong Service Centre.
The Local Inter-Sectoral Steering Committee brings together stakeholders to collaborate on shared goals of delivering efficient service delivery to the local communities. This committee aims to address complex issues that require input and action from various stakeholders to improve service delivery.
During the meeting, reports were received from Musina Municipality, various stakeholders and government departments which include the Eskom SAPS, Department of Social Development, SASSA, Home Affairs, Public Works and the Department of Health. An action plan was also put in place to address service delivery challenges around the local communities.
