Musina Local Municipality successfully hosted its annual Women’s Month Celebration at Skoonplaas Stadium.
Besides councillors from Musina Municipality and Zimbabwe’s Municipality of Beitbridge, the celebration was graced by representatives of various stakeholders which include The Presidency, SAPS, SANDF, Thuthuzela Care Centre and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). These organizations joined hands in reaffirming their commitment to the protection, empowerment, and advancement of women.
The event clearly demonstrated that Musina Local Municipality remains committed to strengthening partnerships that safeguard women’s rights and ensuring that the fight against Gender Based Violence remains a collective societal responsibility.
