Musina Local Municipality hereby notifies prospective bidders that attended the briefing session that the closing date for submission of proposal documents is extended to Friday,10 July 2020 at 11h00 am.
A completed proposal document, with proposed purchase price and fully signed must be sealed in an envelope marked with the “RFP notice number and description” and must be deposited in the Tender box at the reception of the Civic Centre, 21 Irwin Street, not later than the closing date and time. Proposal document will remain valid for 90 (ninety) days.
Proposal documents should contain the following: Company documents, company profile, Tax compliant status pin number, proof of registration on CSD, municipal rates and taxes account for company and for all directors of the company which is not older than three months, proposed purchase price for land, Bank letter and completed MBD 4 form.
The Council reserves the right to negotiate further development conditions and requirements with the successful bidder. Musina Local Municipality is not compelled to accept any proposal.
Kindly note that proposal documents will not be opened in public as it involves face to face meeting which is restricted in terms of Disaster Management Act No.57 of 2002 and Government Gazette No.43258 in relation to Covid-19.The municipality will publish the list of all bidders in the municipal website.

Proposal documents which are late, incomplete, unsigned, completed by pencil, sent by telegraph, facsimile, electronic or E-mailed and without the requirements as indicated will be disqualified.
Please note that all conditions other than the closing date and time as per the advert published on 21 February 2020 still applies.
