MUSINA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 35(1) OF SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT NO. 16 OF 2013).

APPLICATION TO SERVE ON THE MUSINA MUNICIPAL PLANNING TRIBUNAL COMMITTEE AND OR ON MUNICIPAL APPEAL AUTHORITY TRIBUNAL COMMITTEE.

INVITATION FOR APPLICATION AND/OR NOMINATIONS FOR EACH COMMITTEE.

Application and nominations (nominations accompanied by acceptance letter, latest CV of the nominee, Copy of ID document and Certified copies of qualifications and registration certificates indicating registration with relevant professional or voluntary association) are hereby invited from the community (including the business community) to serve as Municipal Planning Tribunal Committee Members for the Musina Local Municipality in terms of Section 35 (1) of Spatial planning and Land Use Management Act, 2013.

The purpose of Musina Municipal Planning Tribunal Committee and as well as the Musina Municipal Appeal Authority Tribunal Committee is to consider and adjudicate on land development applications within the Musina’ s area of Jurisdiction in terms of the delegated authority as delegated to it by the Municipality

The Number of positions required for Municipal Planning Tribunal Committee is five (05) and for the Municipal Appeal Authority Tribunal Committee is five (05) and as per below requirements:

BASIC REQIREMENTS AREA OF EXPERTISE QUALIFICATION EXPRIENCE FIELD
1.1. Legal Registered Attorney/Advocate 10 years or more Property Law / Conveyancing
1.2. Environment Registered Environmentalist 10 years or more Environmental Management
1.3. Town and Regional Planning Registered Town and Regional Planner 10 years or more Spatial and Land Use Management
1.4. Development Economics B(Hons) Economics 10 years or more Development Economics
1.5. Engineering Registered Engineer 10 years or more Civil Engineering
